The Lifestyle Total Living & Art cultural enterprise, Allief, which enhances the quality of people’s lives and shares the beauties of hand-crafted arts with the public, is newly releasing their ‘Soon’ collection.
This new ‘Soon’ collection is a reinterpreted daily tableware version of the white porcelain series, which received positive feedback from the artist’s France exhibition last September, and it has broken off from the image of the existing white porcelain by tempering soft and warm colors with the flow of detailed lines.
The ‘Soon(純)’ collection, which received inspiration from its meaning (cleanliness, purity and pure white) is composed of ceramics of various sizes and forms including 20 different soup and rice bowls and small dishes for the trendsetter clientele who prefer modern and trendy designs. The design was made to complement the colors and taste of food, and to go well with Korean food, Western food or any other food as well.
The aesthetic value and artistic quality is also noteworthy. The flow of detailed lines were expressed with simple and restrained designs for easy use, and delicate colors were shown with the use of clear and light glaze which boldly exposed the bare nature of clay.
Because the exterior of the product is not glazed, the natural texture surely stands out.
Allief’s ceramics are handmade and not produced in a factory, so each product has slightly different shapes and sizes. It has special value for its hand-crafted character which cannot be made by a machine and genuine Yido products have a ‘ Allief logo mark’.
A representative of Allief mentioned in regards to the release of the white porcelain collection, “Allief, which is facing its 26th anniversary this year, is continuing to produce new products and upgraded products from original lines. Most of Allief’s products are interrelated with other lines (Cheongyeon, Onyu, Soho, Yoonbit, etc.), so it is easy to mix and match.”
The new ‘Soon’ collection can be purchased from Jan. 20 at Allief’s flagship store in Gahoe and later in department stores nationwide.
